Exchange of experience on occupational safety
On Wednesday, the 12th of September, the cross-industry exchange of experiences on occupational safety took place in the occupational safety center for the 4th time.
This year we had "prevention in Industry 4.0" as a current topic. The speaker of the trade association wood and metal, Mr. Marc Rockhoff, pointed very concretely to the new challenges in the industrial safety and gave those present an very good understanding of the topic.
The topic and the event were supported by Mr. Kai Pöpsel, Fa. Piel. With the VR SafetyCheck using virtual reality glasses, he enabled each participant to perform a grinding job on a virtual workstation after selecting PSA. The aim is to use this media as a teaching support. Mr. Pöpsel also presented an electronic testing system for work equipment.
Repeatedly, VDSI points were credited to the event participants. With these points, other events of the VDSI (Association for Safety, Health and Environmental Protection at Work) can be visited at a discount.
Finally, the interested participants had the opportunity to visit our production.
The active participation and the enthusiasm for this event of the participants confirms us to continue this exchange in occupational safety and health in order to give new impetus and to expand the already existing network.
